Two Denim Leaders to Take the Stage at Leading Technology Events
Gregory Bailey will speak twice at InsureTech Connect in Las Vegas, and Charlie Turri will lead a breakout session at the Iowa Technology Summit in Des Moines.
DES MOINES, Iowa (September 25, 2018) – Gregory Bailey, CEO and founder of Denim, and Charlie Turri, Denim’s CTO, have each been selected to speak at leading technology events the first week of October.
Bailey will take the stage twice during InsureTech Connect (ITC) in Las Vegas, the world’s largest gathering of insurance leaders and innovators. On Oct. 3, he will speak on the topic of “Why Pilots Fail” alongside the following industry leaders:
- Max Drucker, CEO, Carpe Data
- Mee-Jung Jang, Managing Director, Techstars
- Ali Safavi, Global Head, Insurtech and Principal, Ventures, Plug and Play Tech Center
“We launched Denim two years ago in front of a global audience at the very first InsureTech Connect conference,” Bailey said. “It’s been an honor to return every year since to learn from other industry leaders and share major Denim announcements from the ITC stage. This year will be no exception.”
Bailey will also speak on Oct. 1 during the Life and Annuity InsurTech Showcase, a pre-conference workshop organized by Hannover Re and Sureify. As one of five featured organizations, Denim was invited to demo the Denim platform to an audience of life insurance executives.
Back home in Des Moines, Denim’s CTO Charlie Turri will be leading a breakout session alongside Shea Kelly, president of CCR, during the Iowa Technology Summit on Oct. 2. The session, “Building a Tech Culture for Any Organization,” will explore how companies like Denim and CCR are using investments in culture and values to support growth in their respective businesses.
“Technology, at the end of the day, is created by people for people,” Turri said. “Denim has experienced significant growth over the last couple years. As we’ve grown, we’ve been very intentional about not only the technology we’re building, but also the culture we’re building. I’m excited to share some of the things we’ve learned along the way with Iowa Technology Summit attendees.”
